Hello Virginia and Pete,
I thought you might enjoy an update on Hank! He is doing great! As you know, he is 11 months old, he weighs 42 lbs and is very lean. We think he’s a pretty tall boy too! I haven’t measured his height though. He has been at 42 lbs since May. He is a super sweet boy. He loves every person he meets! He loves to play “keep away”, particularly with Troy (somehow I don’t do it right ) Also loves fetching a frisbee. He found his first truffle all by himself at our farm at 13.5 weeks old! After that, we had Kristin with Stan and Drake up to the farm several times and the three of them enjoyed hunting for truffles together. By 16 weeks old, Hank was consistently finding truffles everywhere we went (friends places with wooded land, etc.) Throughout the season he easily found pounds of truffles and loved every minute of it! He really seems to enjoy truffle hunting and just keeps going and going! We found truffles into May, which was so great for him! He finds both the Oregon White and Black truffles.Next to truffle hunting, riding in our side by side UTV is his favorite, we call it Hank’s Cadillac and have a harness set up for him. Whenever he sees the bike he jumps in and hopes we are taking him for a ride. He is such a cutie! His coloring has gotten lighter, his face is almost completely light cream now with the more ginger color around his mouth, eyes and ears.We truly had no idea how much we would love this guy!I’m attaching some photos, let me know if you’d like any more! He’s gone thru a shaggy puppy stage, then a very short cut about 7 weeks ago.We were curious if you have heard from whoever adopted Chunk and how big he may have become? He was such a cute pup too! They all were 🙂Best to you!JS AND TS
