The setting
The Truffle Barn is a rustic, air-conditioned venue on Canada's first truffle farm. Long-table seating for up to 60 guests. Roll-up barn doors open to the truffle plantation and farm grounds.
Located in Parksville on Vancouver Island — 35 minutes north of Nanaimo. The Truffle Hut provides on-site accommodation for the hosts, with additional hotels nearby.
The experience
Every private event at The Truffle Farm is built around your group. Virginia designs the menu, the florals, and the schedule to match the occasion.
Past celebrations have included truffle-infused long table dinners, guided wine tastings, cooking classes where guests make fresh pasta together, floral workshops with farm-grown flowers, and puppy yoga with the farm's Lagotto Romagnolo puppies.
The dining
Farm-to-table multi-course dinners prepared with Black Périgord Truffles from the orchard. Wine-paired menus, seasonal ingredients, and dishes built around the harvest.
The long table format seats everyone together. The evening moves at its own pace — intimate, unhurried, and designed for your celebration.
