The Truffle Farm is an outdoor wedding venue in Parksville on Vancouver Island's east coast. The property is a working truffle farm with an air-conditioned event barn that seats up to 60 guests inside, and opens through a roll-up door directly onto the orchard. A tent can extend the celebration outside for ceremonies, cocktails or larger groups. Every menu features ingredients grown on site, including Black Périgord truffles from the farm's own Garry Oak and Hazelnut orchards.
The Farm
The property is a working truffle farm. Rows of Garry Oak and Hazelnut trees line the Truffle Plantation. Sunflower fields grow along the grounds in summer. The farm grounds are open to guests throughout the event.
The Truffle Barn is the primary event space. It is air conditioned and fully enclosed. The roll-up barn door opens directly onto the farm grounds, connecting the indoor space to the property. A tent can be set up outside this door to extend capacity for cocktail hours or larger groups.

The Truffle Farm is built for intimate gatherings. The barn seats up to 60 guests at a long table, the format the farm uses for every signature dinner event. Guests sit together, share dishes family-style, and eat at the same table as the couple.
Virginia works directly with each couple to design the day. The format, the menu, and the schedule are built around your celebration.

Menus from the Farm
Every menu at The Truffle Farm is built around what the property produces. Black Périgord truffles from the farm's own Garry Oak and Hazelnut orchards appear across the menu. Charcuterie boards, truffle pairings, and locally sourced ingredients define the spread.
Virginia grows flowers on the farm for arrangements. BC wine and seasonal farm produce round out the table. Guests leave with take-home components: truffle gifts, recipe collections, or seasonal items from the farm store.

Its roll-up door opens directly onto the orchard so receptions can spill outside, and a tent can be set up on the farm grounds for ceremonies, cocktails or larger groups. Couples regularly hold the ceremony outdoors and dinner inside the barn.
The wedding package starts at $7,500 + GST for up to 25 guests over a 3-hour service and includes officiant, ceremony seating, bridal bouquet and boutonniere, multi-tiered cake and cupcakes, charcuterie and canapés, bartending service and 2 hours of professional photography. Extra guests are $50 each subject to catering. Add-ons cover extended hours, wine tastings, truffle cooking classes, floral workshops and the bridal suite.
The Truffle Barn is fully enclosed and air-conditioned, so there is no separate rain backup needed. If weather turns, the entire celebration moves seamlessly inside the barn.
Yes. The Truffle Hut is a private bridal suite above the barn that sleeps four, with a queen bed, mountain view, rooftop dining deck and gourmet kitchen. It works as a getting-ready space the morning of the wedding and as overnight accommodation after the celebration. Minimum two-night booking, inquire for specifics.
