Vancouver Island's Farm Conference Venue

The Truffle Farm is a conference venue in Parksville on Vancouver Island's east coast. The air-conditioned Truffle Barn holds up to 60 guests for meetings, presentations, and full-day conferences. Farm break activities replace standard coffee breaks with guided truffle plantation walks, truffle hunting demonstrations with Caesar the Lagotto Romagnolo, and truffle-infused refreshments. Every meal features Black Périgord Truffles grown on Canada's first truffle farm, established 1999.

A Conference That Leaves Your Team with More Than Notes

Convention centers give you a room and a projector and a coffee station. The Truffle Farm gives you Canada's first truffle farm, growing Black Périgord Truffles since 1999. Your team gathers in an air-conditioned barn surrounded by Garry Oak and Hazelnut orchards. Breaks are farm walks. Lunch is farm-to-table. The end of the day is a long table dinner.

The Truffle Barn is the event space. It is intimate, 60 people maximum, which keeps every session focused and every attendee engaged. Virginia coordinates the logistics. Peter and Caesar are available for farm breaks between sessions. The conference runs on the farm's rhythm, not a hotel's.

The Space

The Truffle Barn: Up to 60 Guests

The Truffle Barn is air conditioned and fully enclosed. It seats up to 60 guests in a flexible layout: long table for collaborative sessions, classroom style for presentations, or a combination. A roll-up barn door opens to the outdoor Truffle Plantation for breaks and overflow.

Clients bring their own equipment (laptops, screens, projectors) or contact Virginia to discuss what setup the barn can accommodate. This is not a hotel ballroom. It is a truffle farm venue that rewards groups willing to step outside their usual environment.

Truffle-Infused Catering Throughout the Day

Farm Breaks

Replace the Coffee Break with a Farm Walk

Between sessions, Peter leads the group through the Truffle Plantation. Caesar demonstrates how truffles are found. The orchard walk takes twenty minutes and resets the room more effectively than any coffee break can.

Farm breaks are one of the things that make a conference at The Truffle Farm stick in memory. Teams return to their afternoon session having done something genuinely different, something none of them have done in any other meeting.

  • Guided Truffle Plantation walks with Peter
  • Truffle hunting demonstrations with Caesar the Lagotto
  • Garry Oak and Hazelnut orchard walks
  • Farm store open for browsing and gifts
  • Farm grounds accessible between sessions

Up to 60 guests. Air-conditioned Truffle Barn. Farm breaks between sessions. Long table dinner to close the day. Parksville, Vancouver Island.
